The University of Nebraska Student Chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB-NU) works with the community of Kianjavato, Madagascar to address their energy needs.  Our chapter has over 70 active student members at the University of Nebraska campuses in Lincoln and Omaha.  Currently, EWB-NU students are working solar energy projects to install lights in school classrooms. 

In 2018 we will be conducting our first assessment trip for our new program in Zimba, Zambia.  Our project will be to construct a pedestrian bridge to connect two parts of the community.
